- Together in Harmony for 50 years-Linking Australian and Korean Arts Exhibition in Seoul - 
The Korean Women's Art Society in Sydney (KWASS) has invited Australian artists to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the Year of Friendship 2011 between Korea and Australia. This exhibition features 106 Australian artists from a variety of different backgrounds, and focuses on introducing contemporary Australian arts. Many Archibald winners and finalists are present among the exhibitors, including  Ben Quilty, who won in 2011, and Sam Leach, who took the prize in 2010. The Archibald Prize is one of Australia's oldest and most prestigious art awards, and was established in 1921.

- NATIONAL ART SCHOOL (BFA) Painting Major Finishing with High Distinctions in Painting & Drawing - Accepted into Honours but decided to venture out and become a practicing full time artist.
- WINNER THE WILLIAM FLECTHER SCHOLARSHIP

    The William Fletcher Trust (now the William Fletcher Foundation) was established in 1985 to celebrate the life and to commemorate the work of William Ernest Maurice Fletcher (1924-1983), painter and printmaker, whose integrity as an artist was not compromised by his material difficulties and lifetime fight with cardiac asthma. The William Fletcher Grants are awarded annually to outstanding young visual arts students who demonstrate excellence in painting, drawing, printmaking or stage design.

Biography

Born in Jajce, in central Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ljubicic at the age of 6 moved to Australia with Mum and Dad and from a young age enjoyed painting and being creative where he was always encourage to do what he loves. Not until the age of 18 did Ljubicic think about becoming a full time artist and it was here his journey began in 2004 where he attended the National Art School, Australia’s leading Art College. 

After graduating in 2007 he founded The Sydney Art Store an art supplies store as part of having access to endless amount of materials which would help him create his visions without worrying about the costs involved. Today that store is still open and running while Ljubicic exhibits both in Australia and on the international stage.

Birth Place | Jajce | A city and municipality located in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the Bosanska Krajina region. It is part of the Central Bosnia Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina entity.
